After a week of the hype over Kristen-Ashley You Me and Dupre and Eliot 9, I was wondering if the whole ordeal was not just a promotional setup for her. In one week we have criminalized a Viagra junkie for getting serviced from a Commercial Sex Worker; All the while, She has a New Record, Book and Movie of the Weak deal. Granted he was dropping the ducketts to hmmm (you can rhyme in your head) he was doing what Aristocrats have done for centuries. Duplease seems to have just seized and opportunity to get famous real quick ala "Monica Lew".

We have seen it all before and yet we keep falling for it. Dot we Americans not remember Brittany's K-FedEx.... Or the many madams before Assley Alexandra Dupré

I say we ban everything she tries to get rich off of.

    Well, from the gossip columns all the way to the New York Post they are assessing Dupre's financial future, detailing the following as a starting point.

    * $200,000+ from song sales so far (300,000+ downloads).
    * $1 million offer from Hustler magazine; other nude pictorial offers pending.
    * $1 million offer from Kick Ass Pictures for a starring role in a porn film.
    * Expected $1 million offer for a book deal.
    * Hypothetical "Client No. 9" perfume deal.
    * "Six figure" offer from Georgi Vodka to star in their butts-on-buses campaign.
    Georgi also wants to create a new product around her called "Vodka No. 9."
    * Commercials, tabloid-TV shows, a sexy clothing line, and more.

    Some estimate between 2.5 and 5 Million USD total from the proceeds.

  • ^ Wow, that is ridiculous. I don't know if I should criticize her for milking this or just stay neutral, because I can say everything I want, but who can really judge unless they're in her position? She has had a dream of becoming a famous singer and now the biggest opportunity of her lifetime, however corrupt it is, has arrived. She is clearly not the one who busted Spitzer, so she wasn't after exploiting him from the start. But now the stars have aligned for her advantage, and she grabbed the opportunity. The one consolation is that this hype won't last very long- perhaps two, three more weeks. After that, it's up to her to stay relevant.
