Exit polls show that about 100,000 Republicans voted for Hillary in Ohio, 119,000 in Texas, and about 38,000 in Mississippi.
I was in Texas just before the Primaries there and I heard from several Obama supporters that there was a real fear that GOP loyalists were going to vote for Hillary because they thought she was less likely to beat McCain. Apparently encouraged by conservative talk show radio hosts...

Alas, I'm disappointed to say Democratic voters may have set the precedent, at least in this year's election. The Daily Kos urged Dems in Michigan to vote for Romney to drag the Republican race on longer...citing the Republicans having used the tactic in 1972, 1988, and 1998. Who knows, given the history, Republicans might have done so in this campaign on their own. But at least this year, they'd be justified in saying the Democrats did it first.

To all democrats, republicans gone democratic, and independent: regardless of who gets the nomination, I can tell you that I will not vote republican. Surely every other non-republican feels the same way, but let me use a few words to remind you of some problems that will be with us for God-only-knows-how-long.
REMEMBER THE 2000 ELECTION?
REMEMBER THE 2004 ELECTION?
REMEMBER THE TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH?
REMEMBER THE IRAQ WAR?
REMEMBER THE AMERICAN WARRIORS WHO HAD TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN ARMOUR?
REMEMBER THE AMERICAN WARRIORS WHO HAD TO "ARMOUR UP" THEIR OWN VEHICLES FROM SCRAPS OF OTHERS?
REMEMBER WALTER REED HOSPITAL AND THE VIDEO OF THE YOUNG WOMAN WITHOUT ARMS WHO'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT IT IS TO HOLD A BABY?
REMEMBER THE 100'S OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS SQUANDERED ON AN ILLEGAL WAR?
REMEMBER 9/11?
REMEMBER NEW ORLEANS AND HURRICANE KATRINA?
REMEMBER DUMBYA AT A DINNER FOR THE RICH SAYING, "You've heard of the Haves and the Have-nots? Welcome to the Have-mores."
REMEMBER THE MILLONS OF DOLLARS MISSING IN IRAQ?
REMEMBER THE U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL, "I don't recall" Gonzales?
REMEMBER S-CHIPS?
REMEMBER ILLEGAL SURVEILLANCE?
REMEMBER CLOSED-DOOR POLICYMAKERS WITH THE OIL INDUSTRY?
NOTHING will make me vote republican, unless Jesus Christ himself runs. And believe me, he won't run on any ticket.
DON'T VOTE REPUBLICAN!-

republicans (or corporicans) call it war...
while democrats (or corporacrats) call it global humanitarian relief operations...
you say tomato and i say throw it at the imperialists!
none mention reigning in our "Department of Offense"... -
Eye and Stephen, I won't pretend to judge the sense of Jesus, but this is the best ticket we've had since Gore. As for the Dept. of Defense, they have to do what our "commander-in-chief" tells them to do, and this one commanded an illegal war without going to congress.
I want Gore and experienced and politically savvy people like him who know, but don't weigh in on, matters on which the American people should be advised. We need someone to reveal what recourse we have, when congress will not act in the best interests of the people.
Remember when the public laughed at Gore's "lockbox" concept in referring to social security? O, for a good old lockbox. And Gore.-

Rush L. and his kind, hard at work. They're so bent on keeping Democrats divisive that they'll stoop as low as to get the lemming-like listeners to vote for Hillary Clinton in the primaries to mess with Obama and, later, do a write-in for a Republican (other than McCain, apparently). His self-serving, destructive habits are, as Daffy Duck once put it, "Deth-pickable!"
Rush, a man who can outfox FOX.
