Sir Elton John will perform at a solo concert fundraiser for Hillary Clinton on April 9th at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, it was announced today.
The event, called Elton and Hillary: One Night Only, is Elton John's first public solo concert in New York City without his band since his solo concert at Madison Square Garden in October 2000.
"I'm not a politician but I believe in the work that Hillary Clinton does," said Elton. "I'm excited to support Hillary by performing at what will be a truly memorable night."
Tickets will go on sale this Wednesday. To purchase tickets, go to http://www.HillaryClinton.com/Elton or call the campaign office at 212-213-3717.

because Sir Elton is knighted by the Queen and represents the oldest imperialistic monarchy on the planet?
I understand what you are saying...Oprah is as much of a corporacrat as the rest of em and I feel both corporacratic "delegates" are political actors -
I guess he has the right to support and do fund raising for anyone he wants. Everyone else does. I'm a little disappointed in his choice but that's just my view.

Being Knighted says he has done great times for England.
That is not bestowed upon one lightly. You seem to over look that it is the right of every one. No matter their talent to endorse or contribute to the candidate they so chose.
Elton John, is one, most all of us like his music. And will never forget the friendship he had with "Diana" Princess of Wales.
Now Sir Elton John will at his own expenses due a solo concert for Hillary Clinton.
