New York, Mar 19 : A woman has filed a $200,000 lawsuit against American Airlines alleging the flight crew failed to protect her from a passenger who moved into the seat next to hers while she was sleeping, then “masturbated to her” and—well, you’ve seen “There’s Something About Mary”? Yeah, that.

That is so messed up.
-
Wonder if he thought that classed him as member of the Mile High Club?
Still pretty disgusting, surely the air stewards must've seen something? -
There's no cameras on planes???
-
If you have to beat off while flying at least have the common courtesy of doing it in the john, not on the airline pillow. Other people use those too you know! How does a flight attendant not notice some guy jerking his gerkhin on an airplane, you'd think every passenger in a five seat radius would know. I hope she wins the case actually, this is a lawsuit that isn't the usual "company should be liable because the chainsaw didn't have a sticker that said keep hands away from moving blade so I cut my hand off" stupidity that always seems to be what people are suing over. And plus no one likes a money shot that they're not ready for. I don't think that would be a good way to wake up.

dam! that's sick shit! but how can you make American Airlines responsible for the complete lack of decency and common sense of some mfer they don't even know?? I'm sure if the attendants had seen it they would have taken immediate action!!! hell even a passenger would have said something don't you think???
sounds like this woman, even a pissed as she has a right to be, if she succeeds, may be the catalyst to usher in a police-state environment to our "friendly" skies...and who likes to stick to their "assigned" seating when there's a better seat somewhere else, because like it or not that may be all AA is guilty of...even despite this sicko.
It's clearly freakn absolutely regrettable, but maybe this should really be more of a civil suit (against this sicko I mean)??? what do I know... *shrug* I just hate for airlines to be forced to treat ALL passengers like at any moment they'd be horribly ridiculous enough to do that kind of sick shit. -
Have you flown in a while? most airports have become a police state environment. I think when it comes to money it usually is a civil suit. While I don't care for frivolous lawsuits, wouldn't you be a little pissed off at an airline that could have stopped someone using your head as a cumrag but didn't? I'd be wanting some satisfaction too. In the article, the crew told police they saw the man move from his seat to the seat next to the lady, and he was rubbing one off when she woke up. If the flight crew didn't at least get curious as to what he was doing, and let him knock a protein shot off on her, then the airline is responsible. She should be seeking more.

dam i'm sure you're right tatnik... but what is the solution for one guy spooging on some innocent lady gonna be (what a bassturd that guy is!)
(except that I'm not sure just mentioning the guy moved from one seat to another necessarily means they actually saw or condoned the illicit behavior. i.e. the Airlines may NOT be responsible for the crude behavior of one sicko in a million) -
Was he cute?

normally id say you were a pervert JesseSanchez, but i undertand yOur remark. that would have made the situation a little more bearable, even if it was someone hot, but that dosent matter. in real life someones actions make them ugly.
DOES THAT MAKE HIM A POSSIBLE MEMBER OF THE MILE HIGH CLUB? -
I can only imagine one reason why the flight crew did not stop the man in time. That would be the guy is a quickie.
Somewhat not joking joke aside, $200,000 is a fair lawsuit but I think it is a bit heavy. However, I would at least expected the woman to have beaten the living crap out of they guy afterwards.-

Eh, no harm, no foul. Sperm is good for the hair, he should be suing her for just compensation. If the airlines didn't want people to seek release on the flight they shouldn't be so high strung.
-
"Sperm is good for the hair..." Do you do your own hair jinkies? lol =D (sorry!!! couldn't resist that one) So what's the price for suffering a little indignity huh? Hmmm...
I would normally tend to agree about that high-strung thang, although it could get serious if she picks up some STD or whatever because of it. That might change things drastically. I only wish her lawsuit involved just the offender and not the arbitrary "place," per se, where the offense transpired. It's like going to eat at McDonald's, having some guy randomly punch you in the face and suing/blaming McDonald's for the fact of it...like they have any control behind the counter! (Attendants have to sit down too y'know!) Hardly seems entirely logical to me. *shrug* We can only control the degree to which people act to a limited measure. Some risk has to be acceptable.
I wonder if her case will get thrown out. Kinda hope it does as I'm afraid what the solution may be if AA is made liable for that crap. We'll all have to sit strictly in assigned seating, by law! or face federal prosecution. And if you whip out your wanker you're really goin down (without a parachute)! =P lol
Maybe she's suing AA as there's no law offering her recourse to sue the guy for what he did. iono...and I don't think the story digs that far into the details to know... oh well... -
although it could get serious if she picks up some STD or whatever because of it.
What STD is transferred via the hair and Semen. She could make a legitimate claim the airlines created the stressfull environment which led to the wanking. -
lol you crazy! =D

Actually this time I think AA should be held responsible, because over the years the airlines have become more like school hall monitors barking at paying customers like children with severe reprisals to the customer should they be bold enough to talk back or challenge rude attendants. So since we as passengers are under their total scrutiny and control, having to nearly strip everytime we get on or off a plane, the least they can do is safeguard us from indecent experiences while were trapped in their silver tube. Haven't we all heard that phrase "we're here for your safety, not to serve you" ? Not to be unfair to the pleasant and helpful airline staff members...and there are many...but the airlines have chosen to make us follow a long list of rules with harsh penalties for breaking them, so they've essentially chosen to be responsible for keeping the peace. I just remembered that my wife was inappropriately sexually insulted and touched (assaulted) rudely with a metal detector paddle by a male TSA employee twice in a few months because he obviously felt she couldn't complain or he could cause her trouble with her travels. This wasn't the airline's fault, but it shows how too much power given with too little oversight is a recipe for problems. If they can spot a seat back not forward or a iPod on or a sealtbelt not fastened why couldn't they spot someone wanking in 14C ?

=D dayum! i'm impressed with those two last posts. thank you guys. lol dayum... what can you say. those are two very different sides to the same coin. One the hand you respect the social mores of the day. On the other vibe, the experience bone' speaks of us undeniably true. It's just the whole experience of flying has become g'dam freaky! It's already too Orwellian for me! We never had this kinda shit when I grew up! We were FREE! And bone' is right about the attendants. There a quite a few good ones. But you can also see it looks like just a job to some too. I can vouch for that. I found some attendants must really take going down seriously as struct as some can be. That 'old' idea of having a very good flight attendant make the customer experience that pushed your business is an idea that looks like most corporate airlines' execs across the board are quite unwilling to pay for. I'm so sorry to hear about that creep. Oooo! That would PISS me off! I'd wanna FIND that guy somehow. Aren't they on camera??? Get YOUR hands on that roll! Who are the people doing that kinda scanning, what badges do they have? Would be really seriously phuktup if the guy was just a poser. Now that's a lawsuit worth pursuing! As for 14C...damn always gotta watch your back lol literally hahaha! Are you imagining what I'm imagining COULD have been the case back in 14C? lmao
COULD have been more than one victim there you see =P LOL Class action? lmao =D
