  • Great pod! I love the barbershop that was used. They seemed to have a lot of character within itself! The owner was a great person to help move the pod. I also liked how this pod was created in a way where you think of any babershop and think of it as a place to feel at home. I also love the the up-close, in your face views of the hair-cuts. The pace flowed nicely, quick and to the point, just like a babershop. Well done

  • Lucky’s barber shop is on the cutting edge of trends literally as well as figuratively speaking. There’s a consistent calm and positive energy, and it’s staffed with very talented people, all passionate and prideful about their craft. My man Colt has the skills for any head.

Lucky’s is a spot where anything and everything is discussed (with class) clean and fun, without being corny. Always a great experience and not all barbershops can translate that experience very well. Best atmosphere, good location, skilled barbers and the prices can’t be beat either.

The barber shop experience taken to the MAXX! I can’t recommend this shop enough!

  • Love this pod Joslyn. My dad was a barber for many years. Had his own little one-chair shop in a tiny Riverside fringe town called Glen Avon. Back then, I think he charged $1.50 per cut. And he was great. On Saturdays, his super-busy day, he would come home with about $50(a lotta dough to the Valverdes back then) and we would splurge on pizza.

I have his barber chair in my storage unit and will display it prominently in my game room. When I get one.

Thanks for taking me down memory lane.

  • This reminds me a lot of the barber shop in my college town. The barber's a really awesome guy who lives in the back of the shop. I thought you did an excellent job of rounding out the characters.
