Ebay-certified "professors" teach people how best to buy and sell items on Ebay. VC2 producer Rachael Joy will take lessons from the Ebay "guru" in LA and attempt to re-sell a vintage purse that once failed to get even a single bid when she put it up previously on Ebay. We'll also hear stories from the guru's former students, as they regale us with the odd and quirky items they've been able to acquire and get rid of on Ebay.

  • This is such a cool pod! Really wry sense of humour - loved the juxtaposition of the barf bag nut with the camera collector, and the gruff Ebay 'guru' with Rachael's humorous take on it. Just wish it had a more enticing title! Great work, and thank you!

  • Wow I absoutley love this video .It's very funny and it's full of GREAT tips. The eBay guru is fantastic . I would love to go to his eBay University . Keep it coming . I think the title should be modified some to make it more attractive to the eye .!!!!!

  • How the heck do you decide you want to collect barf bags? The Hello Kitty one from the beginning of the pod was really, really cool, but I still think it's weird that that's how people spend their time.

  • As one who has had both success and failure on ebay, I could really identify with this one. Who knows - maybe if I had studied hard and gotten into ebay U., I would have sold that weird little corner bathroom sink. What a fun little story - I really enjoy Rachael's jokes. So silly, but you gotta love her!

    Your vid's are always educational as well as entertaining~

    Too bad the e-bay guy didn't talk about shipping cost when listing items...I usually make up a little money on that part and list it lower to entice bidders.

    btw, Did I see a cameo appearance by James??
