So as most of you know yesterday there was that of a massive protest of the war. Presonally I belive that we need more of these. Think about it our constitution says if we are displeased with our goverment we have the right to change it. From events yesterday the law enforcement has been taking away these rights alone. Protest and demonstrations are a part of our constitution! FREEDOM OF SPEECH , &, FREEDOM OF PRESS, Counrties attack us not because they hate freedom... but because we place bases on their holy lands and we are selective and scared of diffrent religions and cultures. our belife is to change the world to agree with our own. You know that if a country tried this on us it would be considered terrorism and we would be fighting for "freedom" but we are the terrorist / communist....
Everyone that protested and is still protesting I honor you as well as our troops for you fight for what you belive in and what is true to your heart and morals. Our troops care for the safety and freedom of our people and our protesters fight for the protection of our people as well... yet they are also the only ones that fight for freedom of war from our troops over seas. Bush has no common sence and understands nothing of todays society. He may have good intentions like a normal human being but thats not being accomplished. I'll admit that it is not single handedly him who decides but it is Congress as well.. Though most of all its us the people. The american people need to rise to their feet and fight for thier belifes for that is the only way we will change this situation. Sure obama promisses change but like he himself and everyone else it takes us to help make it happen. Maybe its a civil war that is needed to put the point across but do we really need that much violence. Should we really divide our country even more ? Than it is already. Look at our goverment they have made our law enforcement stronger to detain and silence the people. For its time fellow Americans its time to grow and silcene that of the goverment and bring our boy and girls home to us!! Hold them in our arms and not let them see those bullets again. No leader is needed. Its just a Union the be leaded!!! The point is that our goverment has our people afraid while the truth is they simply are afraid of us. Though to many people do not see this. Giving them the opportunity to take advantage. I know as for myself I want to make a change!! how about a massive protest in AUSTIN, TX! and every other little , big mid-sized town accross our country

Listen, I agree with you this war is wrong. I believe that a change is needed. I think we need to elect people who will represent our views in the House, and Senate. The Constitution does state we have the right to gather, and voice our outrage. Peacefully though. People have to get to work, and the daily business of San Fransico needed to be conducted. I believe the Police mechinism was in the right, in detaining people( and I don't side with Law Enforcement often). The people of San Fransico who protest, are the same people who send Pelosi to the Senate since 1987.. Same person who blocked impeachment proceedings against the same person her constituants blame for the quagmire in the middle east. The same person who makes false promises of bringing troops home, but insteads votes to fund the war chest. I think the people of Austin should organize, get together, and demonstrate, just keep it on the sidewalk. Even better, the people of Austin should contact Lloyd Doggett, their elected official. He can be reached in D.C. at (202)225-4865. His Austin office number is (512)916-5921. I hope the people of Austin call him to voice their displeasure of this goverment's failure.

theyre should be a mass rally on US soil , Current.tv should help sponsor it and get the word out. Make it during a time where most people are available or willing to be available, peaceful protest can bring attention, and if they tear gas people it'll show their cowardness and pro-violence behavior. Power to the people, spread the word, lets get a mass rally over all 50 states!
