Which is "Mad-der" in March: basketball or politics?

The first games in the NCAA college basketball championship tournament take place today, kicking off March Madness. But "madness" also remains in the race between the Democrats vying for the party's nomination.

How do the two intersect?

Hillary Clinton is deferring to her "advisor" former President Clinton.

Barack Obama, who's known to shoot hoops to relieve stress (shown in the pic playing at a well known ballers court in Honolulu) is picking UNC to win the tourney (boo...GO DUKE!).

And John McCain is running his own pool with campaign swag for winnings.

    • political implications of the tourney are only good for Barack...reminds the nation which candidate associates best with youth, academia, athleticism, and diversity.

and reminds me how badly Barack would school both McCain and Hillary at the same time on the court.

you had me at the bears, you had me at the bears:
