Did you hear about the UK crematorium that’s now offering live broadcasts of its funeral services on the internet? Seems that Web 2.0 is even pervading the funeral industry now. Who thought death could be so innovative?

As convenient as that sounds, I truly think the service is completely unnecessary and slightly disrespectful. If a person can't be there in person to pay their respects to the deceased and comfort the bereaved family, they certainly don't deserve to watch the services from the comfort of their own home. It's times like these where technology pisses me off.
