Passionate gamer Nathaniel, who had illustrated his Xbox 360 with graphic design, artwork, and signatures, sent his console to the Microsoft repair centre, inscribed with 'Microsoft: please do not clean'. When he received it back, the whole console had been washed sparkly-clean and devoid of customization (ouch). Hawty McBloggy today gives us an update on Microsoft's response, which came in the form of a massive cardboard box. Find out what Bill Gates signed and put in the box at the link.

I agree... one instance of super, major coolness and stepping up does not negate a history of subversive business practices.

And the artwork was so pretty, too! I wonder how the guy who put it in the Big Xbox Cleaning Machine is feeling right now...

Hiway,
i totally agree with you. -
Yeah I love the things but dead rising killed mine....I almost had to pay 70 bucks to get it fixed again for an error that was microsofts's fault. I have a friend who recieved three lights of doom for his console and is now without an XBOX 360. So he's also out several hundred dollars.

Bill gates thinks that his signature makes it all better, I didn't know he was a rock star like that.

I wonder how long it took him to make it.
