East London wide boy, and a millionaire by 22, Andrew Pritchard was arrested in the wake of the UK's largest Customs & Excise seizure of cocaine. His trial was intriguing to say the least.

  • Its sad to know that so much money is spent on catching people. Make drugs legal, and then no one has to suffer from all this BS.

    I'm not saying that cocaine use, production, imporataion or sale is good, right or moral. Just that the "war on drugs" is not moral, right or good either. Two wrongs don't make a right. All that time, effort and money could have been spent on other, more worthy projects.

    In the end, he wasn't even convicted. What a waste.

  • Very interesting story, the characters are of course very unique, I feel like I am looking at a fiction story with a to be continued.
    Now, because it is a real story, it makes me really angry to think that people like this guy, that is affecting SOOO many people lives, can just go about with his live and even have the guts to say on camera that he will do another deal, when in countries like that one I was born there is a war for the stupid drug.
    I agree with Chyroze, make it legal and tax accordingly to cover for the cost that society will have to cover after wards. I am sure that making it out of the pocket of many people will be a better tool to eradicate it than putting money into raids, the Plan Colombia and other so called programs that have shown very little progress.

    I think this was an excellent story.
    It is amazing how he can say he would make another deal in the future ... that is something that i have never heard from a person accused of smuggling drugs!!
