  • I love this pod. Busted because a city couldn't, initially, distinguish between harmful crime and doing the right thing. What a country.

  • Kris, this is much much better than your rough cut. Flows better, music works, feels tighter, great start and ending. Well done.

  • nice work kris, this guy is a great character. he is humble in his ways but the small actions and things that he says really stand out. we need more people in society like that, someone who actually stands up for what they believe in, hopefully he will inspire your viewers as well. especially liked the morning breakfast routine and the b roll you had on here.

  • crazy. You shouldve filmed some cop cars for b-roll and prision doors closing or handcuffs and a faster pace interview..cool stuff man+++

  • I wonder if you tired to get comment from the city on this issue. That could really help round the piece out. Also it would be nice to get some footage showing the potential danger of the intersection. Nice work on the whole. I like his story and I like him. He sticks to his guns and is very sympathetic.

  • NoShow,

I decided not to add this graphic, but the city never got back with me about an interview. I agree though, it would have been nice

  • Good job on the second cut! Too bad you couldn't get that interview with the city, but it might be worth adding that they didn't get back to you ("were unavailable for comment" or whatever the circumstances were). I would have liked to see the quote "it should not take an event for positive change to occur" inserted a little sooner because I was wondering until that point if there had been an incident that prompted his actions. Otherwise, really engaging interview and great pacing!
