In this week's Fix Extended Play we travel to Detroit to uncover the Motor Citys most cutting-edge hip hop MCs and producers Guilty Simpson and Black Milk. Indie beat maker YACHT personally takes the Fix on a whirlwind 2 minute and 49 second tour of a day in his uniquely creative life. Also, super group Neon Neon (one part Boom Bip and one part Super Furry Animal, Gruf Rhys) guest hosts the Daily Fix and give us their take the scoop on Spank Rock, one of hip hops most exciting and naughtiest new acts. Finally keep your eyes peeled for surprises from Paul wall, DJ duo MSTRKRFT, UK soul-stress Adele, The Kills and Eef Barzelay.

Thanks for giving some props to my hometown (near to) in Michigan. Very creative people come from around here and it is good to see it recognized. :) I love St. Andrew's Hall and the many different venues around Detroit. I have experienced all of my beautiful music experiences here, from countless concerts all over the Metro Area to the great clubs, and undergound music scene. I think Michigan is a wonderful musical area, maybe not all that well known because people are focusing on other, maybe more negative things going on, but there is still this great positive music and art scene and it is everywhere. I think it is a good source of hope for us. 8

YO! Big ups for the Black Milk/Guilty Simpson visit in the Dirty D. Black Milk is so slept on, and comes so hard with it. The Dilla influence is clearly deep.
"Reunion" w/ J Dilla is my jam right now.
The MSTRKRFT segment is also ill.
Loving it.
