I can't help but think that in ancient cultures, he might have been revered as a spirit of nature.
That said, I'm glad someone's found a way to treat him. I'd like to see how this works out for him. -
Wow. That's really, REALLY different. Is this for real? The camera work is well done and the shots well composed. We definately get close-ups when we want them, and they're used nicely to allow the viewer to get that closer look that we can't help but yearn for when we first see Dede. The pod would seriously benefit from a few soundbites, though. What does Dede think about the disease? What about the man (his father?) he lives with? I'd also be very interested to see Dede go about fishing with his condition. I like that we get to see him smoking, but what about other day to day activities? Lastly, perhaps you can follow Dede has he gets treatment for his disease...that would be a great opportunity for reflection and closure to the story. There's a lot of great stuff here, and this pod has a ton of potential. Keep up the good work!
