There are over 200,000 refugees living in the middle of the Sahara Desert and no one knows about them. Who are these people and what is their story?

  • You can help by supporting the Sahara Marathon Project http://www.saharamarathon.org/) and by raising general awareness about what is happening to the Saharawi people. It is amazing how few people have even hear about this situation.

  • I wonder at "what price" the Moroccan government offered assistance. It must have been too high to accept.Please dig a little deeper. What was the "price offer" that led them not to accept.
    Some people do have integrity and will not accept assistance for fear of loosing their own soul.
    No matter this is a tune that we have to change.
    Just discussion shifts the balance.
    These are issues of humanity that must be addressed.
    For one thing these people will probably have a better chance of surviving "Global Warming".
    So what do they know about surviving in such a harsh climate?
    What can we exchange for that knowledge that may mean survival all in the near future.
