I lived in Laguna Beach (Moss Point and Coast Highway) in the '80s, when I was in my 20s. I went to the Boom every weekend, and many nights after dinner I'd walk up there.
In those days, it was horribly smoky, which was very unpleasant for me.
It's very sad that Laguna is losing its gay community. -
Excellently told story on an important and little known topic--way to go, John!

This is excellent! Really insightful yet fun film about small town activism. Really liked how the different generations seemed to band together for their cause. It should be on Bravo or Logo or better!!

Thank you John and Sarah for telling the world our story.

Fred Karger is a man who follows his heart, his conscience, his spirit, his desire and his beliefs. I have known Fred for over 40 years and this documentary epitomizes the man I have known almost forever. Keep following your dream Fred and you will find it.
