    The online world is awash with rumours of his terrible demise. B3ta.com members change Wikipedia entries to kill people off for a joke. It could have originated from that.

    On the plus side, the "did he have an 'art attack" joke has redefined comedy as we know it.

    well I couldn't find anything anyway...

    I was told by a friend that he'd died on the 21st of March, but I neglected to ask where she'd heard it.

    It doesn't matter that much I guess.

    I told that joke by accident, was told I was sick.

  • it started with a facebook group called RIP neil buchanan (the art attack guy) - its got over 12,000 members... as far asive worked out it's all lies - why wouldn't this be on news sites across the world???? he was - or rather - is much loved.

  • they would tell ppl if he'd died and it would be all over the news and my quote is proving that because they are deniying that he is dead.

    yeh his contract proberly doesn't have death news exclusive rights he proberly got them to tell everyone that he wasnt dead he is never in the news or magazines but if he'd died he would have been everywhere and citv wouldn't show art attack incase it upsets ppl

    He's not, his hairdresser's wife left a wee note saying they had seen him last week!!

    I just think if he had died, it would be publicised!!

    I have friends who also know his family and i am sure they would be disgusted to know this groups exists Neil is Very much alive. please spread the word as this will otherwise cause his family unnecessary stress and disrespect the creator of this group is being very disrespectful to Neil Buchanan and his family. please spread the word to all of you friends and people you know who have joined this group.

  • yeh i no i miss heard the news report i only caught the tail end of it, just asumed it wa him wen they said children's art presenter or watever it was. i was comming on to say it was actually mark from smart
