The Bad:
This collection is wack and tremendously out of date. Who would buy this in 2008? Better yet 2009, 2010 and so on. The collection look like a rerun of Mary Poppins. I'm sure you may have peers that tell you this collection is nice, but that is NOT real. I am a real critic. What I am telling you is accurate.
The Good:
Designer saved the best dress close to last at the 3:10 minute mark in the video. Only this gold applique dress worn by the model on the runway is worth coming into a store to check out and try on. That dress is today and tomorrow, unlike the bad taste ugly patterns and material in the other dresses worn in this runway show. This designer seems to be very positive and professional with TRUE skills. However she seems to be like a candidate trying out for American Idol who has been told that they can sing when really they can't. My advice to this designer is to not listen to friends and associates and ask complete strangers what they think about the collection. Amazingly you will find the feedback to be the brutal truth. Does this designer has what it takes? In terms of professionalism and atitude, YES. In terms of taste, I would have to say NO. It is clear that keeping it simple doesn't mean safe these days. Step your taste up L. Shandi.-
