Univision is remaking the ABC hit show, translated into Spanish. It's all the sex, intrigue and "comedy" of the original. Plus mustaches.

So American television has finally created a show that other cultures want to remake instead of the other way around, eg the Office or Ugly Betty.
-
Something wasn't right with the clips from the shows. The screen would go black, except for the subtitles (where appropriate).
? -
I'm with mconway1. Those black screens sure make it hard to see awesome mustaches. Except for Brett's which, for some reason, came in almost right on cue.
-
Im crushed
-
Anatonomia de Grey! Good one guys! I can't wait for that and more mustaches!
-
that actor in "anatomia de gey" looks a bit like sergio cilli

Hey it's better than "Yo Amo a Juan Querendon" y las otras novelas. What you guys should talk in comparing the spanish soaps aka "Novelas" and American soaps is how American ones tend to last for some 30 yrs! (Days of Our Lives etc) While the Spanish know when enough is enough and end the story after one or two seasons.

as a LATINA i hate adaptations!!!! i just hate them, don't fool yourselves thinking this is a first, oh no...theres married with children, the nanny, mad about you, just to name a few, and is usually a desaster, american humor (american as USA-american) is not easy to translate to latin culture and it's just not a good fit.
we have good ideas, please univision (and every other tv network) stop copying, just stop, now it's getting sad, really -
I think "normal" Terri Hatcher is sexy!
-
missmagnolia... veo que estos gringos no entienden el significado cultural del Chapulin Colorado... !No contaban con mi astucia!
-
I am latin american living in New York City, and Univision does not represent most of the latinos in the US. Their programing really stinks, I wished they'd get with the times and stop being so backwards. The mustache has got to go! lol!

Normal Terri Hatcher is sexy, but man was that Hispanic one hot! And you're right... mustaches do make everything better. Not really... just funnier.

i took french instead of spanish :(
really, i'd just watch for the moustache -
Bumble Bee Man from the Simpsons was inspired by El Chapulin. However, "El Chapulin Colorado" translates to "The Red Grasshopper". So it's not a bee costume, Conor!
-
I've never wanted to watch Desperate Housewives...
but Amas de Casas Desesperadas? Somehow I am incredibly intrigued...-

I love the goofing at the end of some of InfoMania's stuff. I recognize those guys -- or at least berlich, and so it feels like sorta homey, ya know? Like hey, he's the guy who tours me around Current.com every time they make a change! And now he's wearing a silly mustache! Yay! Maybe that girl should make a tour-around-Current video. So we can get to know her too. Yay Current staffies!

Brett, ese show es para los viejos.
-
Somethings won't translate correctly! Any cultural differences?
-
If Univision isn't going to make major modifications to the original script, then what would be the difference, if any, between a well-dubbed Desperate Housewives and Amas de Casa Desperadas?
-
To answer your question, Mickey: Imagine your favorite American show, but all the characters look like they are from Mexico.
-
moustache guy looks like george clooney..
-

-
