The violent winds howl, announcing the arrival of the twister.
Grapefruit-sized hailstones rain down and the huge funnel of the tornado swings menacingly on the horizon.
These are the most violent storms on earth, wreaking havoc wherever they whirl.
For most, the sight of an approaching "twister" is a vision of hell on earth.
But for a few, experiencing a tornado in full flow is their idea of heaven.

Ahhhh, beautiful.
Reminds me of a time when I crossed through Missouri, and the most awe-inspiring clouds loomed ahead of us on the road. They billowed upwards in front of us, and vibrant blues and oranges danced around, and I was 9 at the time, and I thought the world was going to end.-

Although these pictures have been circulating the internet for quite some time now, they remain stunning every time i see them.

Talk about extreme sports -- storm chasing? I'd be chasing a safe haven away from any twister.

Beautiful, yet destructive altogether. Personally, it's not something I'd advocate because it's very dangerous but some people like throwing caution into the wind.
In this case, those winds can move at over 100+ miles per hour.-

Crazy what mother nature can do! Shows if we try to suffocate her, she'll screw the crap outta us.

Powerful words from this movie....
"Why wouldn't the wilderness fight us? Like any other organism trying to fight off a virus."
