...We are so hard on any country that speaks the word "weapon" or "nuclear" yet look at us! - we want to create ANOTHER missile defense base! Why do those other countries want to acquire weapons?? To protect themselves from US "defense" bases all over the world!

Well, yeah. We want to be able to blow anyone up who has the gall to screw with us with nothing more than the push of a button. But we don't want other people do be able to do that to us. If other people could do that to us, we might actually have to respect them and resort to diplomacy.

We make money selling weapons to both sides, then have them attack each other.
We have more weapons of mass destruction than any other nation, yet we are still shocking and awing Iraq for weapons of mass destruction that we never found there.
I am still in a foggy state of disbelief.
Can this really be happening?
Is this why massive storms such as: Tornado's, Hurricanes, Floods, hitting the Republican parts of the United States because they voted for Bush?
God is usually pretty quiet, yet I think he is Mad as hell and not going to take it anymore. -
And how much would this cost? Seems we're in need of money to help sort out our economy, not to build new defense programs!
