Who knew there was still this kind of activity happening frequently on the high seas!

An important reminder that things have not calmed down in Somalia after the mainstream news tuned out after the Ethiopian-ICU battles of 2006. Only yesterday an Islamic militia seized control of a town from Ethiopian forces.

i never wished i was a pirate when i was a kid. i don't think it'd be such a bad job though. you get a bird that repeats your every word. you don't have to worry about smelling good for anyone. you get to eat fish. (ew) oh, and you get to freak people out and steal their belongings. but the best part would be my wooden leg...sexy.
