Apparently this sheltered representative hasn't traveled to a mystical land known as "Europe", where as many as 45% of people in certain countries travel by bike. His attempt at humor on the issue, as well as his visual aid, all help to drive home the point that he is, among other things, a gigantic ass. (the audio lags a bit in this video)

Ouch! That guy's comedy really fell flat didn't it? As a real life European, I can assure you that bicycles exist, and you can even cycle them places! Love your headline, benjaminV - let's not sugar the pill :)

Wow, what a way to be counter-productive. Why do we elect people that just wanted argue and belittle each other's opinions? And not all democrats look at the energy crisis like that. How could one be so closed minded to the idea of riding bikes instead of cars? It covers two problems in our country--energy and obesity!
