Charlton Heston died at 84 in his California Home. Heston was a legendary film star. His most notable film role was Moses in "The 10 Commandments."
Progressives were critical of Heston's leadership roll in the NRA (National riffle Association). He often said we could take his gun from "his cold dead hand!" He was rarely appologetic when guns were used in murders or school shootings.
Michael Moore was criticized for cornering Heston in his home in "Bowling For Columbine." The audience was shown Heston's true political bent in the film.
