A leading Democrat on Saturday declared last year's troop buildup in Iraq a failure.

This is one of the few Senators who actually has a brain. Listen to him.

Biden is a frighteningly brilliant man. I would believe his assessment on the matter.

You have got to be kidding me. First off this guy doesnt really care about the troops, Iraqi's or what you or I think. He is just another Democract out pursuing the status quo agenda laid out by his party.
I have friends and realitives serving in and around Iraq who have been in the S!@t. The surge has done a lot of good for the domestic peace in Iraq and our own safety at home. Where do you think the Fanatical Islamic terrorist would be without us being in Iraq. They would be here on our soil killing Americans hand over fist.
I am tired of being fed this mealy mouthed drivel by an obviously biased media that is sucked up by an impressionable younger generation who are identifying with the stories of parents and grandparents of the Vietnam War and allowing their parents to live viacariously through them in their "anti-war" sentementallity. Dont get me wrong, War is Hell, and the sooner my loved ones can get home the better, but it sometimes is a necessary evil to ensure the domestic tranquility, and there was nothing domestically tranquil about 9/11. I pray everyday that our troops are safe and can return home soon. I will not stand by and say nothing when cut and run tactics are spouted by yet another poltician. That doesnt help the Iraq people or Americans.-

phill is right, anyone who can't see that isn't looking hard enough. The truth is always out there, it all depends on how far you're willing to look.
