Despite the peace, prosperity and solid Presidency ushered in by Bill Clinton during the 90's, he soured many voters with the whole Lewinsky mess. Now, Hillary is set to do the same thing with her Rocky gig. The longer Hillary and Obama trade jabs and stuff Republican pockets with healthy ammo, the McCain train and the Republican party is again poised for another victory. Like it or not, the Clinton's may be more toxic to the deomocratic party than any republican could ever dream of.

this is another reason why i believe that the clintons represent the status quo, glad not to be alone. to some point, it sometimes looks and feels as if all this is 100% intentional, which morphs into worrisome

No one is going to lose to McCain, the guy is a pants wetting, profane psychopath. Like I have said before unless they choose Dukakis or raise Andrew Jackson from the grave then it is a slam dunk.

I don't know about all that. I do know that anything is a huge step up from Bush.

It's a hard case to argue that the country that "elected" Bush can't by hook & crook, Diebold and the Supremes, elect McCain. We did it not once but twice. As Bush tried to say on one occasion:
"Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, ....uh....uh...." (He forgot the rest of the saying.)

I read that a majority of Democrats predict a McCain win in November, while a majority of Republicans predict an Obama and/or Clinton win. Be careful what you wish for . . . you might just get a third party in the debate!

Choose either McCain or CLinton/Obama? Kind of like being asked if you want to be drowned or beaten to death.

Why is it Clinton's fault she will lose it for the democrats? People vote so people will lose it for the democrats. You have two great senators running for democratic nomination for president. I do agree that fighting between the two does create resistance within the party however, once a nominee does emerge people just have to be reminded about the bush administration over the last 8 years and they will make the correct decision. Sometimes people get too heated in the moment when the media likes to flare the passions of average citizens. So as a reporter saying Clinton is going to make the Democrats lose is just kind of unethical and silly.
