Saudi women are banned from driving and can be arrested if caught by police for "immoral behavior." This brave woman went driving on International Woman's Day and filmed it as a form of resistance against her government, which has proved very slow in its reforms

  • Can't drive. Can't vote. Are jailed for apearing in public with a man outside of the family. Jailed for being raped. Jailed for protesting. Denied most marital rights, including the right to mairage itself should a close family member object. Denied the right to inherit property. Denied the right to custody of male children in many cases. Denied custody of both children in many cases of seperation and divorce. Oh and it's the country where the majority of the highjackers came from on 9/11 and the country where oil revenues are funding suni insurgencies in Iraq. Someone want to remind me how that in any way this country is a friend to America?
