Growing up, I spent a lot of time on the Chesapeake Bay where they still harvest oysters under sail. This looks like it is still very hard work but a whole lot more efficient thatn traditional methods.

Probably one of the best PODs I've seen in a long while. Great Video. Great Bites. Simply Great!
Thanks Andrew!-

Really great pod. The interviews are meaningful but not dry. The music provides color without overshadowing the content. I also like the full-circle effect of sea to table and son to father and eco system renewal.

I've read alot of bad things about aquaculture and how it pollutes into the environment through the excess feed that is channeled into the farms and causes eutrophication. He mentioned that oysters help lower nitrogen levels. Is there any negative environmental impact of the farms?

this was nice. farming oysters never really occurred to me till 5 mins & 2 seconds ago.

This was great content and I'm really glad it made it to air. The way you juxtapose the clean and tidy restaurant with the dirty, wet work of farming oysters yet never mention it past that is really well balanced. Look forward to more

This is really interesting. This is really unique. I'm glad this made air also, because I'm a huge oyster fan. This has great info and that makes this pod so much more interesting.
