A Venezuelan TV station has dropped the The Simpsons from its morning schedule after it was deemed 'unsuitable for children,' only to replace it with Baywatch.
The country's television authorities branded the cult cartoon 'inappropriate' and subsequently replaced it with the show that introduced the world to Pamela Anderson's slow-motion running capabilities.
Caracas TV station Televen has started showing episodes of the beachside show in the same mid-morning slot, but Venezuelan Simpsons' lovers need not worry, the TV authorities have not ruled out broadcasting Homer and co. at a later time in the day.
Surely seeing the Hoffmeister running down the beach in his speedos when you're eating your cornflakes could do more damage to kids than Homer Simpson?
