Pronounced 'wah-ley' the hottest thing out of D.C. is about to inject a healthy dose of Go-Go music, Nike boots, and himself into Hip-Hop.

i thinks its cool to see that gogo is spreading from coast to coast. i thought gogo was just in the DMV area but i guess i was wrong. there might be a new trend in music coming soon!
-
Awesome. I have been listening to gogo since the 80's and finally, finally, finally it is getting the shot it deserves. Go gogo, Rare Essence, Chuck Brown, EU, trouble funk express, and more. These guys worked really hard to create a new music. Check 'em out.

Brothers have been rapping since day 1.The only thing new about rapping is the disrespect that some of these cats like,'lil wayne are showing towards the history of the rap game..DENMARK VESEY,MARCUS GARVEY,ELIJAH MUHAMMAD,MALCOM X,MARTIN LUTHER KING,GIL SCOTT HERON,H.RAP BROWN,MUHAMMAD ALI DENNIS EDWARDS,EDDIE KENDRICKS TUPAC SHAKUR,AND SO MANY OTHER BROTHERS were all rappers. How dare some of these young thugs get up in front of the ridghteous people, and disrespect the sacred microphone that has brought so much peace, harmony, and freedom to a beloved people of God who's only ever cry to God has for freedom, justice and equality. Before anyone of those brats get back up on the mike, teach about grace and humility.

I am going to be so biased right now but basically coming from the D.C area it is so refreshing to see an up and coming artist like Wale representing not only hip hop but Go-Go music. Often artists are afraid to go against the grain for fear of failure and Wale has purposely gone against the grain with only success on his mind. Kudos! Great POD

I love the fact that he's willing to think outside of the box on how to make money from music. And he doesn't want his artistic expression being limited by the current structures the music industry has in place to monetize his passion.

Being from the D.C. area I love no no I mean I adore this pod. I hope to see more things from this person and the artist featured.
