Ball State University conservative Mandy Mills can't figure out her comfort level on the subject. A weapon could scare more than it would help, but in a time of danger, does that matter?

She keeps mentioning that she doesn't think arming all students would be a good thing. Nobody is proposing arming all students. The proposal is allowing 21 yr old & older adults who already have a concealed carry permit, have already gone through the training, testing, FBI & State DPS background checks with full fingerprinting, etc, who already conceal carry everywhere else (crowded shopping malls, movie theaters, etc) without issue, to cross the current "gun free zone" boundary lines that surround our Universities.

You already walk by them & sit by them on a daily basis without realizing it (that's what concealed means - nobody sees, nobody knows), unless you never leave your School campus. In that case you still are around armed people as you walk through campus, but in that case you're only around the armed criminals who are searching for their next easy victim.

CCLs on campus isn't about arming drunk freshmen. (Or even drunk sophmores.) It's about carefully vetted adults being allowed to carry IF they choose.

    Got another answer....that works?

Crazy students.....no guns. Adults who have been vetted and trained=choice to carry arms.
