    • If the quiet art students that scare you really were to go bad a gun free zone will not keep them from getting a gun. That has been proven many times over. Gun free zones don't stop criminals or mentally unstable people, they only prevent law abiding citizens from being able to choose to be prepared to defend themselves from murder or rape.

    • So, would you object to someone using a gun to protect you?

      CCLs on campus wouldn't arm the art dept. It would just let adults who have been carefully vetted carry a hidden firearm if they chose. You would be safer and you would never, ever, have to look directly at a firearm!!! (Ok, you might see a photo, but you can handle that!)

      You like freedom, diversity and choice, right? Or do you just want the police and the Bush admin armed?
