Guns are bad? What other inanimate object is bad? Bananas? Bibles?
CCL on campus isn't about arming drunk freshmen, its about letting carefully vetted folks discretely be armed at their choosing. It would repress bad guys.
CCL folks have a better safety record than the police.
It's all about choice. You don't have to have a gun, you don't even have to see one. -
and about this "frontier justice thing"...yelling "SLAP LEATHER" around some of the theater major parties will get you in mucho trouble, hombre!

Stick to art; humor definitely is not a skill of yours.

Exactly...the difference between FEELING funny and actually BEING funny.
I think I might be able to sell some "Shoot me first, I didn't support Campus CCLs" T-shirts to this crowd. -
Frontier Justice? What does allowing CCW permit holders walk across the so-called "gun free zone" boundary have to do with Frontier Justice? Frontier Justice is generally understood to be when a group of folks got together & took the law into their own hands when they felt that the Rangers were not going to do it - for example a group of cattle ranchers forming a mob & hanging some cattle thieves without giving the thieves any trial.
As far as I'm aware, there have been no instances of "Frontier Justice" instituted by concealed carry permit holders. No, the CCW permit holder only wants to protect him or herself & his or her family from murder, rape, or worse. Self Defense is a natural right that has existed since the beginning of time. Otherwise you can also choose to just dial 911 - when seconds count the Police are only minutes away . . .-

Dustin, those in favor of gun control have to think of something negative to apply to those in favor of their rights, so they tell people those that want to exercise their human right to self preservation are vigilantes.
At least the argument has no foundation. :) -
CCW is not about "frontier justice." CCW permit holders are not "rambo" types. They are not trying to be heroes. They are not trying to rid the world of criminals. They are trying to protect themselves against evil people. CCW is about protecting yourself and those you care about. If a person saves a large group by protecting themselves, that's great...but it's not the main point to self-defense. It's about the opportunity to enjoy another day--alive and well.
