The story behind it is even cooler.
If you're feeling ballsy enough, take an under water flash light and a diving mask. Go to the back left of the cave and you'll spot a hole in the wall.
Climb up the cave wall and into that hole.
You'll drop down into another hidden pond-under water spelunkers dive through those caves. You can then climb up the walls and out onto the side of the small cliff-it's pretty rad.
OR
Go further back into the cave and there's the spot where the princess Popoalaea hid from her husband. FYI, the REAL spot is way the hell back in that cave.
