He was blown off a platform, run over by a train and lived to tell the tale. Or he might, if he was old enough to talk.
Officials in the northeastern Swiss town of Mohlin, not far from the German border, are astonished that a six-month-old baby survived with barely a scratch after a freak accident that seemed designed to take his life.
The child was in a buggy at a station when a strong gust of wind suddenly pushed the stroller off the platform, straight onto the tracks and right into the path of an oncoming train. As commuters watched in horror, the big engine ran over the child as the cars passed.
Seconds later, there was a profound sigh of relief and amazement - the child had fallen out of the stroller and miraculously landed between the rails. The sounds of his cries brought smiles and astonished cheers of relief from bystanders. As the train cleared the station, rescuers found the youngster with nothing more than a bump on its head.

Hey Joe, remember when you got ran over by that train?
Nope. -
Whoa.
-
Yes!
-
A better ending would have been if the baby punched the train backwards, then flew off, having miraculously found a cape nearby.

Unbelievably good news!

Although the article says the mother was treated for shock, and evidently cared very much for her baby, where was she for the whole time these events came to pass?

That's absolutely amazing...But when it comes down to it, imagine how the guardian of the baby must feel! Sheesh, I'm sure that if there is some sorta CPS over there...That how story will have to be looked into. Either way, I'm pretty sure the baby's guardian won't let that pipsqueak outta there sight for a while.
