The Cancer Card

My best friend Megan was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Thankfully, things are looking up for her. However, Megan's mom is a single mother and the bills are adding up. This website provides information on how to donate or get in contact with Meg.

I know this sounds like the cliche "if you have a heart, you'll help me" stories...but seriously. I thought I was losing my best friend. She has taught me so much throughout our friendship.

She's the coolest person I know. Throughout her treatments she's managed to keep a positive attitude about everything. Megan and our other friend Chelsey were deep in an argument, and Megan tells Chelsey "Why are you being such a bitch, I have cancer goddamnit!" and Chelsey yells back "Don't you pull the cancer card on me, bitch!" It was so funny, the argument immediately ended.

Even though things are getting better as far as her health, she and her mom are struggling financially. Please donate & send an e-mail or something; Megan would be more than happy to hear from genuinely nice people.
