The Daily Show's John Oliver put togther a stunning smackdown of Fox News on last night's show, punctuated by some damning clips showing egregious comments from some anchors (John Gibson, natch) and some — gasp! — flip-flopping on certain positions (like, say, executive privilege). Watch as Oliver tries to sneak into Fox HQ dressed as the Statue of Liberty, hosts a pundit shoutfest, and waves many flags.

I too saw this last night and it had me laughing so much. I was happy they gave it to FOX news good!
At the same time, it's sad to know that people tune into Faux News believing everything they say. And it's sad that we usually don't hold them accountable. But this was truly great. I know not many tune into the Daily Show often but maybe it opened up a few minds.
All and all, however, it could possibly be just another case of preaching to the choir. -

I am indebted to the writers of the Daily Show, and their interns and researchers, for digging through all those tapes of Fox News and finding the gems to juxtapose for us in the homes of America. I wouldn't have been able to do it without barfing immediately all the place. Thanks, guys!

That guy is hilarious.
Fox is by far delusional, and more delusional are the viewers who think they're getting fair and balanced news. That's like me watching The Colbert Report and thinking he really is Republican. It's pretty damn pathetic.
