"She calls out to the man on the street
'Sir, can you help me?
It's cold and I've nowhere to sleep,
Is there somewhere you can tell me?'
He walks on, doesn't look back
He pretends he can't hear her
Starts to whistle as he crosses the street
Seems embarrassed to be there" (Phil Collins)
Thanks for the reminder brothalc - this is an epidemic in every city. -
bothalc. Can we see and hear more from the participants? Where their minds are at as they do this? That'd be cool. Since this is the State Capitol, I think there needs to be more visual reminders of where you and they are to show the disparity.
Was the video gap that lead to raw footage in the last 2 minutes intentional? Whenever little technical "tweeks" (like dancing diagonal framing) appear. I look at them and not the action onscreen. The subject matter should be the star, not the gimmicks in editing. For music, you could use, for example, the opening of The Temptations/Norman Whitfield's "Masterpiece" for a more dramatic, moody score.
You have the talent to put together a truly great 6 or 7 minute (perhaps, even longer) pod that would have folks thinking about this subject more seriously. I look forward to your future contributions.
