Hillary has become especially hard to take because she can’t get what she wants without lying a lot, and nobody any longer believes a thing she says. It would help were she as good a liar as her nominal husband is, but even Bill Clinton can’t lie like a Clinton any longer. Even the price of Clintons in China has gone through the floor.

Exclusive: Obama Connection to Terrorists Revealed by Talk Show Host
March 22, 2008 02:27 PM EST
There is a far-reaching scandal brewing for presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, thanks to a radio talk show host based in Oregon. Syndicated talk host Laurie Roth's revelations make the news story about Obama's relationship with a racist, anti-American pastor look like child's play.
A top official at the Pentagon during former-President George H. W. Bush's Administration and a former CIA intelligence officer maintain that Barack Obama and former Weather Underground honcho William Ayers funneled money to Professor Rashid Khalidi, a known terrorist sympathizer.
Khalidi serves on the faculty of Columbia University in New York and is best known as the professor who invited Iranian President Ahmedinejad to visit Columbia University after he finished his speech at the United Nations. According to confidential sources, Khalidi has direct ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), a group on the US State Department's list of known terrorist groups.
"One source for this information was once a top military figure in the 1990s. He doesn't take making allegations lightly. If he says something happened, believe me, it happened," said syndicated radio talk show host Laurie Roth < www.therothshow.com/ >
"Another source is a former agent for the Central Intelligence Agency, who is an expert in counterterrorism," said Roth, who broke the story on her show Friday night.
"I certainly don't want to demonize someone because they are a woman, black or liberal running for President. I love the idea that in our culture, a black and woman can now run. However, it does matter to me with any candidate, their consistency with good judgment, their voting record, their association with people with questionable backgrounds and commitment to our country," she said during her show.
Here are the connections as described by very reliable sources, who possess impressive military, national security and intelligence backgrounds:
Allison Davis, who hired the young Obama into his small, Chicago law firm Davis, Miner, and Barnhill in 1993, left the firm in late 1999-2000 and became a housing developer. Davis went into business with Tony Rezko, the indicted businessman who's scheduled to go on trial for corruption in Illinois, and who was a major fundraiser for Obama.
Davis met Rezko when he was a client of Davis, Miner, and Barnhill. Rezko is currently under indictment in Illinois for demanding kickbacks from companies seeking state government business contracts under Governor Blagojevich. Obama was identified as one of the politicians cited in the indictment as having received political contributions from Rezko out of his kickback funds.-

Tony Rezko hosted fundraising events for Obama in his home and was on Obama's US Senate campaign finance committee which collected $14 million for his campaign against conservative Alan Keyes, an African-American who served as an Ambassador during the Reagan Administration. In order to avoid a scandal during his presidential campaign, Obama returned $85,000 that Rezko and his family had donated to him.
In early 2000, while Obama served as a state senator in Illinois, he also sat on the board of the nonprofit Woods Fund. The Woods Fund is a Chicago-based foundation that claims its primary mission is to make financial grants in order to increase and/or create opportunities for disadvantaged people and low-income communities.
The chairman of the Woods fund board in 2000 was Howard Stanback, who like Obama also had connections to Davis, according to the reliable sources.
Davis submitted a grant request to the Woods Foundation for a $1 million investment in his development partnership, Neighborhood Rejuvenation LP, that would be used to finance low-income senior-citizen housing. Under normal circumstances, a board member is supposed to recuse himself or herself from decisions where they have a business or personal relationship.
Obama, who did not recuse himself, voted to approve Davis' grant request. Stanback, on the other hand, abstained from voting. The housing project, which also received a $5.7 million loan from the city of Chicago, in turn donated almost $70,000 in political contributions to Obama's presidential campaign.
In the past, Rezko gave Obama -- who served as an Illinois State Senator -- his first two political contributions in 1995, $1,000 each from two of his companies. In 1998, State Senator Obama wrote letters to city and state officials urging them to fund a Davis-Rezko housing project. It was an obvious quid pro quo arrangement.
Another major fundraiser for Obama is William Ayers, who also sat on the board of the Woods Fund with Obama and is a professor at the University of Chicago.
Bill Ayers, along with his wife Bernadine Dohrn, was an active member of the Weather Underground, a radical left-wing group that advocated violence against the United State. Both Ayers and Dohrn went "underground" in 1970 after others in the group accidentally detonated a bomb in a Greenwich Village (New York City) townhouse. The blast killed three of the group's members including Ayers' girlfriend at the time.
While Ayers and Dohrn were hiding from law enforcement, the Weather Underground participated in the bombings of the US Capital, the Pentagon and a State Department building. In 1981 Ayers and Dohrn turned themselves in to federal authorities, but all charges were dropped as a result of alleged "government legal misconduct." In his 2001 memoir, Ayers wrote, "I don't regret setting the bombs. I feel we didn't do enough."
Ayers and Dohrn are known to have held at least one fundraiser for Barack Obama in their Chicago home.
During Obama's last year on the board of The Woods Fund (2002), he participated in awarding grants, including a $70,000 grant to the Arab American Action Network, a Chicago-based group founded by Rashid and Mona Khalidi.
In another suspected quid pro quo arrangement similar to those with Ayers and Rezko, Rashid Khalidi also held a fundraising event in his home for Barack Obama.
In the Middle East, Rashid Khalidi was known as a man to be reckoned with. From 1972 through 1983, Khalidi was the director in Beirut of the official Palestinian press agency, FAFA. His wife worked there as well.-

According to sources, when the Khalidi's left Chicago for Columbia University in New York, Rashid was honored with the Edward Said Chair in Arab Studies at that Ivy League university. Their goodbye party in Chicago included testimonials from Bill Ayers and Barack Obama.
"What other fund raising connections does Obama have? How many times can you look the other way in church and with fund raising situations with more than questionable people?" asked Ms. Roth.
"We all make mistakes in judgment with people and their backgrounds sometimes, but usually we learn and pick better friends and associates. How come Obama seems to have continued hanging around more than questionable characters with anti American backgrounds and some with criminal behaviors? Now one is being indicted, Tony Rezco, who raised a ton of money for Obama," she said.
"As President, how much would he look the other way when dealing with national security and dangers to our country? How much would he listen passively to terrorist leaders then lecture us on our ugly American status? This kind of change is not what our country needs!" added the popular talk show host, whose show is syndicated by USA Radio Network < www.usaradio.com/roth_show.php >
In a related story, during an interview on Thursday morning (March 20) with Black Panther leader Malik Zulu Shabazz, Fox News Channel viewers learned that Shabazz' group endorsed and supported Senator Barack Obama for President of the United States. Even on Fox -- an organization wrongly accused of being "conservative" -- the interviewers were careful in their questioning of Shabazz, a recognized racist and anti-American radical.
The New Black Panther Party leader proudly announced on Fox News that his organization endorsed and Obama for President.
"While some people may say that Barack Obama has no control over who endorses him, he should have control over what endorsements are posted on his websites," said Laurie Roth, who, besides hosting a popular talk show, is a regular columnist for NewswithViews.com
"The endorsement of the New Black Panther Party was posted on Barack Obama's website. Why was this tolerated unless Barack Obama wanted their endorsement? If he does not want their endorsement, how much control over his staff is he going to have once he's elected President?" asks Mike Baker.
The New Black Panther Party is openly anti-White, anti-Jewish, and anti-America. After Obama's Tuesday damage-control speech, his campaign pulled the Black Panthers' endorsement story off their website.
It's also been reported that Obama's campaign staff was allowed to fly a Che Guevara flag inside his office, according to NewsMax < www.newsmax.com/fontova/obama_campaign/2008/02/14/72655.html >-

"Do these revelations demonstrate a pattern of Barack Obama's judgment? If so, then I do not want him dealing with world leaders. I do not want these groups having access to the White House. Do you?" asks the New Jersey-based political strategist.
"It appears the Barack Obama water carriers within the mainstream news media are on the job as usual -- ignoring another story that has the alternative media on the Internet buzzing: Obama's embracement of an endorsement by the radical, racist organization," Baker added.

What gets me most of you are in your 30's an were not old enough or were doing other things in high school or going out on dates or concerned about getting married or something other then who was the President and what the deficit was and if you had to be concerned about Medicare or Disability. You you thinking about what job you were going to do for the rest of your life while I had my life taken away from me. At least that part of it.
I was 39 years old when I got hit by a semi and my working future was over.
I have keep up with politics only because I have had to. I was disabled at 39 and had to live on Medicare and Disability. So what happens to the deficit is of great concern to me and I was around when President John F. Kennedy was killed I watched it on TV when he was shot. I know about former President J.F. Kennedy and the military and political work he did before he was president they us to talk about it and had shows on TV about it how he served on a PT boat.
Obama does not have the experience John F. Kennedy had before he became president, not at all and even my dad that is 85 years old my sister that is 61 and my brother that is 55 has said the same.
I understand that all you all have had to really go on is the Bush administration and the only thing that stands out in your mind about former President Bill Clinton is the scandal with another woman.
Well, I have to tell you that during the whole mess I was still proud of our President the reason was.
1. He was the only President in 25 years that had lowered the deficit.
2. He started bills in congress to protect the enviroment, water act, air, fuel bill, he and Vice President Al Gore worked on this.
3. Hillary got with his signing Child care bill passed.
4. Foreign relationships were great.
5. the economy was great, I know I had a Certificate of Deposit that was earning and any one could get one 7.5 % interest.
6. I.P.O's were opening weekly.
6. the stock market was doing great.
7. Qualcom Stock was over $250.00 a share.
8. So do not even tell me this country was not doing good we were doing great and even Jim Cramer of MAD MONEY CNBC said so while on Ellen's show and stated Hillary would be the best President.
But people are following the trail of I have seen before. I'm 51 and it is happening again.
People fall for someone who has no experience and and talk good.
Take this test:
When you get your Taxes done to go to someone who talks or has a really good ad.
Or to someone who has experience doing taxes?
Vote for someone with experience, not for for someone who only has two years in local ( a BA so to speak ) an two years in Federal ( another BA so to speak ).
Check Hillary's time, she been there for a lot longer.
She was a First Lady of a President. That means she has already been in the white house and knows what it takes to correct what Bush has done.
Remember Her husband was the one who's good policies and good economy BUSH screwed up!
VOTE FOR HILLARY!
Vote for Experience for your Future and mine!-

ok, well clinton was:;
responsible for the deaths of millions of human beings.
was the president when the internet blew up...had nothing to do with him directly...if anything it was bill gates, and jerry yang.
he took over at the end of the recession that daddy bush started....there is always an upswing before it.
in california and about 30 other major cities, the fall before he was elected, there were bond issues passed to improve the cities to increase revenues..had nothing to do with clinton.
internationally the world did like the us. actually the world liked the us about the same as it always had, it wasnt until lately last 8 years that the world has been disgusted at the us. not even during the vietnam war did the us have such a hated position.
the stock market was reflective of the tech boom, which turned out to be a wreck...and most of those gains turned to losses that were successfully litigated and paid back. clinton gave more money to the saudis and established so much of the infrustructure that the extremists hate because its on their land. (i know this because my pops was among those doing it during the 90's)
you are right, he did reduce the deficit. but do you know who most of that debt is owed to? do you? its owed to us! from the WAR BONDS and T-Bills from the 40's 50's and the like. infact he got rid of the T-bills for a bunch of years. im not sure if they are back yet or not to be honest...i wanna say they came back.
as for fuel costs, refineries were running at only 60% in the 90's. the reason we are in this financial situation is because of allowing competing economies to take over the markets and industries here in the us. all billy clint clint's fault.
he might have been a good dude, and did some goodthings, but his wife is a liar. i liked bill back then. i think he is shit now, because i am older and i can look back with unbiased eyes and say wait, this coward did nothing to save rwandans, islamic bosnians, he starved and killed iraqis, medicine wise, destroyed peoples lives in iraq. he killed people. im not all about america first and only...im about my people in the world because i grew up all over the world. i have no dedication to america...i have it to the planet. those of you that see america first, and only...i feel sorry for you. you are comfortable with a good deal of pain.
im not.-

Maltesetitan...I am sorry for the tough times you have had. I really am.
And I won't argue that Bill Clinton did some good things. He did. I was a supporter of his and while it was not always easy, I think on the whole he was a pretty good president. But to ignore some of the things he did that weren't so good (some that majik has pointed out but there are others) would be to white wash is presidency. But all of that is beside the point. Because Bill is not running for president. Hillary is. And when I compare Hillary to Obama, it is an easy choice for me, Obama. If we follow your logic for the sake of this argument, then we should all be voting for McCain. Who is the most experienced person running. So I find that argument flawed. Experience is a factor. So is vision and trustworthiness and the ability to unify and leadership. And most importantly for me, a desire to change the way things work.
I appreciate that you are a passionate Clinton supporter. You are entitled to your opinion and I'm not trying to change your mind. But...the stuff you are pulling off of smear sites and throwing up on current is just a bunch of lies. And I feel obligated to point that out.
Best of luck to you. -
Where is the proof that what was posted is untrue?
Many of the allegations are a matter of public record and these stories have been covered in reputable media outlets.
It is important to research everything about Obama just as with any other candidate for President. -
"A top official at the Pentagon during former-President George H. W. Bush's Administration and a former CIA intelligence officer maintain"
"One source for this information was once a top military figure in the 1990s."
"according to the reliable sources."
"According to sources,"
Who are the sources? Why are they unnamed?
TouchArt, you know there are plenty of smear sites with just as ugly stories about the Clintons (much worse in fact). Do you want to rehash the Vince Foster allegations again? They were also covered by reputable media outlets. I would be just as critical if someone posted that crap. So...if you stand by this Newmax garbage...feel free to defend it. Cite the sources. Fill in the gaping missing holes with some supported facts. I'll be happy to read it. But asking me to do that work would be like me asking you to prove that Hillary didn't have anything to do with Vince Foster's death. But I don't think that would be fair to you. -
Nothing Krag wrote proves anything.
Where are the sources disproving the allegations against Obama?
Bringing up the most insensitive and heinous of the already discredited false accusations against Hillary Clinton does not disprove the allegations made about Obama's behavior.
"fair to you"??? Who do you think I am that I have to defend Hillary Clinton or anyone else in this race? More to the point, who do you think you are to be judging and making assumptions about people you don't know?
Unfortunately, the tenor of the conversations on current is increasingly hostile to anyone who disagrees with a few posters who seem determined to hijack nearly every list and attack any posters with whom they disagree with personal insults and false characterizations. Very boring.
I'll keep working for change, but current doesn't seem like a good forum for serious discussion about how to tackle the serious issues facing our country and the earth. -
majik,
You seem to have some issues, first off you sound like a republican by the way you talk.
You sound as though you are grabbing at straws. One President Clinton corrected helped lower the deficit. The reason we have such a deficit is because of republicans that get into office and do not know how to manage money. They act like a kid in a candy store.
As far as the internet I never mentioned the internet, I said The stock market and it was great i had a CD that was getting 7.5 % interest and anyone else could to.
Yes it went down after that because Bush Jr. got in office and screwed up everything President Clinton did.
Maybe if you stayed in the United States long enough or paid attention instead of talking someone elses policy statements maybe you would know what is going on in this country.
President Bill Clinton, did more for this country then any president in 25 years and Jim Cramer of MAD MONEY CNBC even stated that on Ellen's show.
Would you like the quote!
I watched the stock market and I was involved in the stock market during that time.
so i can tell you I saw what President Clinton did for this country.
You said:
the stock market was reflective of the tech boom, which turned out to be a wreck...and most of those gains turned to losses that were successfully litigated and paid back. What the h-ll did that mean!
The tech boom was great and the economy that President Clinton created caused this to take place.
As far as anything else you through in for the H of it.
Do not tell me how you think only your money or your dads money goes to taxes.
That is how a republican thinks!
One there is more then just you our your our you pop as you put it money that goes to pay taxes.
You sound all fill of yourself.
I'm a Colonel, and my Dad was in the Navy for 25 years.
He's appeared before the Senate. When a President gives money to a country your little bite is nothing.
Everyone is a part of the United States and we have to work together so vote for someone with experiece.
You haven't said who you are going to vote for.
I will bet you are a republican.
If so watch what Hannity says about Hillary on Fox.
I have to admit he has some brains, at the moment.

www.obamatruth.org
I can't see a President in the White House that doesn't place his hand over his heart when the national anthem is played.
Yes of course i have many strong feels about other issues, but to think of seeing are President in front of the United nations ( other countries of the world ) when a solider dies or at the placing of the reef of flowers at the grave of the unknown solider and our President not doing that which shows respect to those who died for this country.
Makes me cringe!

Here is what he said April 6, referring to people living in areas hit by job losses: “[I]t’s not surprising, then, that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

TouchArt, no need to get touchy. Clinton is washed up. I understand your going down with the ship, after all, you both (Touch, Malt) have apparently invested a lot into her campaign. But she's not going to work as closely with Al Gore as Obama will. And global warming is the issue that will make or break the human species, if it hasn't already.

stephenthomson should read what he writes before he posts. He makes assumptions that are untrue.
Enough said. This conversation is a dead end. Adieu. -
TouchArt you asked me to prove that the allegations were untrue.
"Where is the proof that what was posted is untrue?"
I pointed out that there are several unnamed sources in this particular smear piece and then pointed out that if you defend the piece then you are free to find out who the unnamed source are and fill in the holes of the story. Something I note you were either unable or unwilling to do. I mentioned the Vince Foster story as a comparison to the kind of garbage that is floating around the internet ready to be cut and pasted onto this site. I wasn’t asking you to defend it, in fact I even pointed out what I thought of that particular story.
"I would be just as critical if someone posted that crap."
How is that out of line, offensive or hostile? I don't believe I was disrespectful of maltestitan in my disagreement of his post and if challenging the content of the information you got the idea that I was attacking you or anyone personally, I regret your misunderstanding. However...I stand by my post. If you have additional information about this story that goes beyond the unnamed sources...please post it. If not, then I think this story belongs back on the smear sites where it came from. That is my opinion. I’m sure you’re not suggesting that majik or I don’t have the right to express our opinions just because they might differ with what you and maltesetitan happen to think.
Thanks for expressing your thoughts, I hope this clears up any confusion. -

ONLY 32 SO DON'T KNOW ANYTHING! YOU DON'T!!! TRY 51 OR 85. You do not know about what has been going on because you have been concerned with your life your friends going to school, getting married , having kids, you husband, or not, what college or classes or job your are going to really like, apt or house, and you have not been paying any real attention to the economy since 1962. Have ya. Of Course my dad has been since 1935. So No you really don't know anything!
Krag2112,
TouchArt said it so true.
"fair to you"??? Who do you think I am that I have to defend Hillary Clinton or anyone else in this race? More to the point, who do you think you are to be judging and making assumptions about people you don't know?
stepenthompson,
You need to read up and get a little age on you because what you are saying is stupid.
Hillary Clinton was the First Lady of the United States when Former President Bill Clinton and Former Vice President Al Gore was in office. They worked together to correct the many problems this country faced at that time and they did a great job. It was the best Administration in 25 years. The President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore worked together to correct the economy, the deficit, environmental issues, and much more, while the first Lady Hillary worked with the Senate on getting the Health Care Passed.
So know first about what you speak of before you open your mouth. Obama never had any kind of relationship with former Vice President AL Gore. Hillary knows what needs to be done and that Administration was working for cleaning up our lakes and water ways. And was wanting others to pay attention to the needs of the planet but the republican majority was the ones that pushed that out the window and did not care.
I watched as BUSH Jr. when he got into office, which he should not have. Cancel the environmental act that was put into place by former President Bill Clinton and former Vice President Al Gore. That was one of Bush's first act's that he did, he did not care about the environment.
So, Do not believe what Obama says he says it to get votes, Hillary speaks from experience.
Vote Hillary!-

Maltesetitan,
Whew!! Well, no I have not been paying attention to the economy since before I was born, but I have been doing my best to learn about it since I became old enough to understand that my parents argued over not being able to pay the electric bill, and I was aware that I qualified for free lunch- but other kids paid, and I was embarassed about it. (Actually, I have not always done my very best, I fucked off some when I was 19, and then again I sort of went off the deep end at 25) -but at this point in my life, I am putting my best foot forward. I will say that I come from working class people, I have always had awareness about what my family needed, what i was Ok with not having- and it has made me a better person. The way that life felt when Clinton was President was great, yes I was really young, but I paid attention to politics, and I remember wishing that I was old enough to vote, and, making sure that my mother got out there to cast her vote for Clinton. I think that Clinton and Gore kicked ass, our nation has suffered since the end of that era. If Gore had not been cheated out of the position for which he was fairly elected, our nation would be worlds away from where things are tonight. The work that Hillary put into trying to get us some nationalized healthcare was honorable, I remember feeling proud that we had an intelligent president, with a wife that did something real with her role, as opposed to showing us how she redecorated a room, or redecorated herself. Hillary Clinton is not the exact same person on the inside as she was during those years.
Hillary was the head of the President's Taskforce on National Healthcare. Republicans called it "a socialist nightmare, government run healthcare, socialized medicine..." and worked themselves into a frenzy of fear and misguided ignorance. People believed (and still believe) that they would not get cared for, they would deal with bureaucracy, instead of a doctor. The following groups collectively spent over $100 million dollars to defeat Hillary's Healthcare Plan:
Health Insurance Association of America $15,000,000
American Medical Association $3,000,000
Citizens for a Sound Economy $2,000,000
Christian Coalition $1.4 million

ALSO,
If you have to kick someone's butt in a dialogue, and really shut them down, have at it. But your approach thus far is very ageist, and you assume that your fellow commentators lack life experience (regardless of age). Not just on this piece, but everytime I see you commenting you are telling someone to get older.
Perhaps you could consider encouraging people to learn about that which you assume they are ignorant; or another approach could be, to rejoice that young people are attempting to use their brains!!! Then, if they are wrong, you could use your extensive knowledge and life experience to mentor, and guide them to the truth.
