On a stop along the mighty political path, Hillary Clinton visited with staffers and voters in Indiana and decided to have a drink. Good for her, right? Guess what happened after that is what really 'shocked' people. Wow, Hills I didn't know you were a Crown kind of girl?!

Ha, hard drink in the town where gangsters were sent to do hard time. Nice. Somewhat distrubing but nice. Does this mean we are back to the old campaign songs of the 1800's. "In english coaches she's no rider, but she can fight and drink hard cider!"

Wasn't one of the reasons we got into the mess we're in today with Bush was because he was the candidate voters would most wanted to have a beer with.
How'd that work out for us? -
How can you honestly compare Hillary having a beer and one shot to 8 years of the Bush administration. Seriously!?

How did you want me to respond Woody? Kudos Hillary...way to drink! She really is one of us now. -
Sorry if I took it out of context; my B! I think people just take stuff like this sometimes way to seriously. Glad to hear Current.com users are better than that ;-)

A Drunk in the White House?
Oh great. Just we want in the White House....when that 3AM phone call comes in.....A DRUNK?
First Hillary proposes a vodka drinking contest with McCain in 2004 on a Congressional trip to Estonia (see link) and NOW she's slamming one back on camera for these primary campaigns? What kind of message does this send our teens when we're telling them not to drink or do drugs? Why doesn't the media focus on this????? -
Having a drink doesn't have anything to do with her run for the White House. So she is trying to be one of the boys, so what. That doesn't make or break her. Her policies and behavior in the campaign is what is going to do it or not. The media needs to focus on truth period.

So Woody, it is OK to mock Hillary Clinton with the choices selected here regarding her, yet Obama gets the discussions about don't ask don't tell, and other issues without the abnormally large goofy pictures? It is no wonder that people who may support her are scared away from sites including this one. I am one who is not fond of any of them, but that does not mean I do not see the difference in the style of entries for the two of them here. Is the "hate" that intense that a discussion of issues surrounding her cannot even take place? Are people so intimidated on these sites that they cannot even come out and admit they support her for fear of being ganged up on? So in order to have a discussion including her they have to respond to entries like this mocking something stupid? What if someone posted one regarding Obama being a smoker and calling that unbecoming a president? Would that not be seen as insignificant?
There are policies we should be discussing regarding them both, yet this is the best we can do? It is no wonder the political discourse in this country has sunk as low as it has. And threads like this about Obama would be just as mocking. And should by some miracle she wind up with the nomination and even eventually "win" the presidency will those who see the historical value of that win as well be allowed to express that without retribution over the abject hatred that has seeped across the Internet? I sure do wonder with what I have seen to this point.-

OMG. JanforGore successfully bashes Obama on almost every article I read. I hope Hillary is paying you.
This is just another nonsense article that will have no determination on the election whatsoever and is just being posted to get people to leave ridiculous comments. -
Well, your response surely makes the point. And since you know so much about my posting habits, could you please post one link where I have ever posted insiginifcant cr** like this against him or any of them? I don't think you'll find it. And someone who criticizes a candidate based on their policy is not bashing THEM personally, it is criticizing policy which is also part of discussion. Perhaps you then need to learn the difference before judging others here. The difference in tone of posts between the candidates is obvious not only here but on many sites. That is not said out of allegiance to any one candidate but as an observation. But you are right on one thing, it is nonsense.

I agree with Krag, who said "Wasn't one of the reasons we got into the mess we're in today with Bush was because he was the candidate voters would most wanted to have a beer with. How'd that work out for us?"
the fact that these politicians (hill and obama both) know that they're being filmed for the whole world to see when they take shots and down beers is fucking ridiculous. It is basically saying the same thing as it was with Bush. Look! You could have a beer with this guy/girl!
great. let's have a vodka drinking contest and then play Who Can Deploy Their Nukes First.-

Well...I guess it all comes down to what you consider insignificant. There were certainly people on this thread who thought the topic was insignificant (it got over 50 responses).

I gets a little wary when a person elects themselves arbiter of which posts have merit and which don’t. I say post whatever you want woody.
