haha yeah my sister got drunk and ordered a big carmen miranda fruit hat off ebay one night.... She bounced her debit card the next morning because of a mysterious $100 purchase...

I've heard of too many people buying ridiculous things whilst under the influence. Most notably 'rare vinyl' that has been repressed and now available in all good record shops.

That's how I got my marc by marc jacobs bag. No regrets. It was like waking up to a pleasant surprise - woah he's not fugnasty! He can stay for breakfast! Now me and Marc are in lurve.

I do this from time to time, but it isn't under the influence of alcohol... more like sleep deprivation. I'll forget about it and when the box arrives I get an early birthday present. Usually it is yet another cook book, but from time to time I'll find a cool print that '3 AM me" must have. Usually goes well, but when it doesn't I get a good laugh out of it.

eBay is the worst offender - a few beers makes a sudden last minute bid seem extremely sensible.
