I agree with the tag... Mizzou IS frickin' amazing! So ya'll should definitely come visit!

I'm graduating on the 16th with a journalism degree, concentration in media convergence, emphasis in international reporting... yep, it's a mouthful. After graduation I have about a five week break before I leave for China July 1!

The JSchool paired up with the Olympic organizing committee to send some students abroad to work for the Olympic News Service. I found out I'm going to be getting flash quotes from gymnasts at the National Stadium (aka the Bird's Nest) right on the Olympic Green. I couldn't have asked for a better placement!

I'll be there from July 1 through September 18 for the Olympics and Paralympics. After that, I may do a bit of traveling around... try to make my way back to London for a visit. I've been looking into riding the Trans-Siberian Railroad to Moscow and then catching another train to get closer to London. Not sure about the safety issues surrounding that though but it'd definitely make a great story!

So yeah... I pretty much have no idea what I'll be doing post-Olympics. Some combination of traveling, coming back to the US, catching up with friends, working a temporary job in retail so I can buy business clothes on discount, searching for a "real" job, and relocating to who knows where. It's a crazy time but not scary at all... just a new adventure! I can't wait! :)
