The Daily WTF exposes a serious security flaw in a website run by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections which allowed the names, addresses, and social security numbers of tens of thousands of Oklahoma residents to be made available to the general public for a period of at least three years. As is unfortunately the case too often in such episodes, the agency did little to correct the problem until it became clear that information on not just felons, but high-ranking state employees was also accessible.
