Pope Benedict XVI arrived in the United States for his first visit as the head of the church. The First Family along with a crowd of guests and dignitaries welcomed the pope at Andrews Air Force Base. Benedict is scheduled to make several stops while in the States, including a stop in New York to give an address before the United Nations General Assembly and a mass at Yankee Stadium.
