Not that that should be newsworthy. But, er, it *is* kind of newsworthy, if only for the accompanying images. There's something striking -- in a good way -- about this shot (above) of a pregnant woman reviewing the troops.

  • It's totally newsworthy, she's the first ever female defense minister. If our defense department was governed by a pregnant woman I think things would be quite different.
