Condi must go! No more lies

In Condoleeza Rice's own words. "Torture or the conspiracy to commit torture is a crime in the United States."

Don't you think it is time for this lying person to be asked to resign from her job? She has lied more than many people say Hillary Clinton has lied.

Frankly I am sick and tired of her lying about and denying that the United States of America, under the leadership of George Bush and Dick Cheney, has "not willfully engaged in torture or any act that would cause physical or psychological abuse to any detainee."

Boy they must have a whole cadre of Soothsayer Lawyers telling them "Oh of course you can do that, but we're gonna call it by a more respectable name" like instead of calling it torture, we are gonna call it HARSH INTERROGATION TACTICS.

Poor Colin Powell was forced to resign and leave public service almost entirely in DISGRACE to SAVE FACE for the horrible LIES that he told to the UNITED NATIONS, with faked up SATELLITE PHOTOS of WMDs.

Colin perhaps was duped into telling those lies with false intelligence. But he was disgraced nonetheless. How much more does Condi deserve to be disgraced? I would say a lot!

What do you think about what should happen to this lying (insert expletive here)?

Now when you watch the video, at the end there is a call to action asking you to sign the petition. You can if you want to, But I am more interested in having a discussion about Ms. Rice's job performance; lets call it a performance review.

  • Jubal, She can't be called that unless she gets money for it. This woman is a gap toothed incompetent fool, and a journeyman liar to boot. She should be investigated and tried for her crimes. The World Court prolly has a her name on their list of people they need to try for war crimes. She is in the same league as Bush, can't do anything right. Apparently her qualifications for the job is sitting on Bush's legs while he does sit ups.
  • Not only should she be asked to resign, she should be prosecuted for having broken the law she herself mentioned. "Poor" Colin Powell was behind the My Lai cover-up, and was part of the cabal which choreographed the tortures from a dark chamber deep in the bowels of the White House. I also suspect that those Abu Ghraib sexual tortures and humiliations were choreographed by Bush himself and the photos taken for his personal perverted gratification. We only got to see a handful of those photos and videos, there were hundreds more which were never released to the public, some of them, according to Sy Hersh, involving the rape of children. A judge ruled that all those photos and videos should be released to the public, but so far, they haven't been released.

  • Would like to see them all resign! God knows all the branches are in bed together and without a movement of the people won't impeach. And when the people do move they have the dogs out on the lowest levels. Local police defend national protest as if they are personally connected. Our best choice is moving forward with new leadership. Obama 08'

  • Already signed. I still can't believe both Obama and Clinton voted to confirm her as Secretary of State.

  • Vierotchka, that is absolutely dreadful to think that they photographed children being raped. It makes my skin crawl, and I can just see both Bush and Cheney getting their kicks off of the human suffering.

So you have some stuff on Colin Powell? I would like to see it. I used to have so much respect for the man and then the whole debacle before the United Nations and the WMD's it made me feel sour towards him. But if you have something to share that I may not know please do.

  • Marilynn, I certainly hope that you are right about her name being on the list of war criminals. She is guilty as sin. What a day for human rights that would be to see the whole bunch tried for war crimes.

  • Jubal, if you look again at the video you posted, you'll notice that Colin Powell was among those who choreographed the tortures. As for more on Colin Powell, a good start would be http://www.consortiumnews.com/archive/powell.html

And finally this one talks about Obama stating that he would ask his Attorney General, if he were president, to look into the potential crimes of the current White House.

  • I guess there is a movie coming out called "Weapons of Mass Distortion" that deals with the subject of lying by this administration; and the lap dogs that cater to it.

  • Its interesting to see the video of the judges from the Berlin Film festival discuss the impact of the film on them and why they selected the film for the prize it earned.

  • The actual human development goal of a prosperous and future nation must based on individuals that respect themselves and for that matter respect others. I have no idea how half-way Nazis got into power but one thing is certain, Americans that follow Constitutional believes based on Human Rights goals can not afford to make this ridiculous mistake any more. There are a lots of people that needs to be arrested everywhere in this Country and that includes the Government. I am for Media and Personal arrests. I do not play with criminals. You blow, you go! That is the reason I am towards enforcement and abatement of the wrongs. I do not just stand in there like a pathetic target and let these terrorists do what they want. I act on it and I attempt to stop it by exposing their pathological and sick behavior!
The Department of Civil Arrests will be open for business folks.

  • i hate to be a killjoy, well allright I really don't. But I believe that she is only and has only remained in the position in order to break the glass ceiling. I think (and I hope) that she disagrees with many of the policies but maintains the image in order to stay employed at such a high rank. Literally between a rock and a hard place.

but i have my moments of optimism that are incorrect.
