I live south of Jacksonville, so i see a ton of Gator fans,I just have one question to ya'll. Me, myself, being from Michigan and being a Wolverine, why can't you guys EVER beat us? 22-5-1 vs. SEC. I was at the Capital One Bowl watching UM slam your beloved 9-4 record having Tim Tebow to the floor repeatedly like a dog toy. GO BLUE!!!!
p.s. before you come with the App.State jokes, just remember, they beat us, we beat you, what that say about your gators? OVER-RATED *bum bum bum bum bum* -
Seminoles haven't beaten us in football in 3 years, and havent completed a pass in three years too it seems like. And their only opportunity was this year, but they couldn't get their QB issues in place. Tebow even played the final minutes with a broken hand. If that happened to Weatherford, he would of cried mommy and run to the sideline. And do u like FSU because of the football team or because of Bobby Bowden..? Second..Michigan. Congrats on beating us this year. You are one of the only Big 10 teams that can seem to do that and it was your beloved coach's last game. First off, we had a horrible offensive line AND defensive line. I believe we had 2 REDSHIRTED freshmen on the defensive side. Gators are not overrated. If they were overrated, we wouldnt of played a Michigan team who had the "biggest upset in sports history" (courtesy of ESPN's own Kirk Herbstreit). And we would have played in a BCS game. So this overrated thing is wrong. Look, you want the gators to be overrated so it will look good for ya'll, but the fact is that your only going to be able to celebrate this win next year because ya'll are going to be horrible next season. Come on, Rich Rodriguez? He's a hurry up offense coach. You've never had that, and your team is going to crumble.
Sorry, but everyone picks on the gators, and i had enough of it. If you want to talk smack about the gators, come up with something good. -
What possible better smack could I talk except that we've beaten you everytime we've played you? All you SEC fans talk about how "fast" you are, but in the Capital One bowl I seem to recall our WR running your DB's in circles and catching passes 4-5 yrds ahead of your nearest DB's. Yeah i know we're in a transitional phase right now with the spread offense, but hell, we'd beat you again. And I never recall saying I like FSU, I'm indifferent to them, I never even mentioned them so i dont know what that is referring to. Tebow is good, gimmicky, but good, he needs to be a drop back 1st, run 2nd quarterback this year or he won't transcend into the NFL. Vince Young was way better at what Tebow does and he's not that good in the NFL.

I never spoke of football but rather the quality of the institution, overall student experience and surrounding areas. Sports is great, it's a real pleasure to have a campus stadium (unlike the horrible UM) but small note to larger experience. I've spent a lot of time in Gainesville with many of my friends attending the school and much prefer my beloved Tallahassee. As a student, I was very involved on campus and have the luxury to compare considering the insight. Of course you'll love you're school but as rivals, it's only fair that we tease each other. Sorry if you feel like you were picked on - but stop crying.

campus stadium? what the hell are you talking about? the football stadium? if so, sorry but we pack over 120,000 people every game and on a side note you need a much better GPA to get into UM. UF isn't even in the same realm as UM as far as tradition & education.

Didnt mean for it to sound like I was crying but you know, Gators get 0 respect from anyone. I mean FSU has a killer Baseball team and about 3/5 of my friends go there. But you'd feel the same too if every day you heard crap about how were overrated and such. Were not overrated, we just have a passion for the sports we play in. Hey BTW, is jimbo fisher going to be the new coach?

Ok so UM has us on education. but who cares. No one can throw a party like Florida..and to mention FSU too. I mean what does UM do for fun. Ice fish.

HAHA! Okay this funny, when i said UM i meant University of Miami - another rival to FSU and more or less to UF. Not Michigan. Couldnt care less for the frozen tundra you call a campus. You need 120 thousand bodies worth of heat at your stadium to keep the respective temperature close to bearable.
Enjoy that - the hockey team is sick though; played four years at FSU (NCRHA) so that might have been fun. -
And regarding education, academics is what you make of it; I wasnt in a quantitative major so the experience was mine for the taking. By being involved on campus, carrying internships and writing for the paper; i had a complete experience that could rival even the ivy leagues (maybe). To which point; let's be real - unless you're at harvard, princeton or yale where you're entitled to privilege; it's up to the student for the take away.

yes, hockey is something that shouldn't even be in a floridians vocabulary...should stick to playing basketball and being wide receivers, leave the rough sports to northerners.
