who the hell visited the club ( already makes them meh) and didnt report it right away? It took 2 weeks?! I understand a 17 year old passing for legal but 12 is not even passable for legal.

Not only should the place be closed, but the owner and who ever was responsible for employing her, should be prosicuted. An example should be made of them to avoid it happening elsewhere. obviosly the powers that be were visiting the club and are peodifiles them selves!

I know the age is shocking, but it did say she was a runaway. Yes, it sucks that underage kids think that stripping is a good way to make money, but one has to ask why they are there in the first place? What was so bad at home that thier only refuge was a strip club?

And this is not only found in Texas. I read an article about a strip bar in the bay area that had girls between the ages of 13 and 17 dancing on a nightly basis. They were shut down and there were charges handed down to the owners. I'm not sure why the state that tried to legislate the way cheerleaders dance doesn't have something on the books about underage stripping.

Logicmaster - there are a vast number of reasons why kids run away from home, their parents being but one of them. Some kids run away from home because they don't like the limits that their parents set on them, too - they are being rebellious and object to having to go to bed at a normal hour, not being allowed out after 10 pm on Saturdays, not being allowed to go and stay with a friend of whom the parents disapprove for good reasons, being grounded by the parents who caught the kid smoking pot or drinking alcohol, etc. By no means do all runaway kids run away from dysfunctional parents or family lives.

well laws r really confusing. 12 years old worker will be consider as child labor. 12 years old striper, i guess is ok. again, if she is having sex with some guy, he will be put in prison for raping, and the girl walk free i think. the fact she is taking her cloth off, hmm, it is kind of on the border line. i think according to the law, child nudity is ok for art but not ok for porn in some places. that is y some website has children porn (they claim it is child nudity art), and never got banned or shut down. i would guess a really good lawyer (skill wise, but evil in nature) will pull it off, and the club owner walk free. i believe the movie "pretty baby" has child nudity in it, and it was showed on screen. well, i dont know what to believe and more.

Dallas Houston Austin are all places with cantina's/strip clubs/whore houses/masseuse parlors with all sorts of things going on that are all sorts of wrong. there are hundreds and thousands of women who are enslaved and forced into perversion and kept in captivity. this is only one more feather in their cap
