Well, I'll be damned...

I've been hearing about the supposed 'controversy' over the current Vogue cover that features basketball phenomenon Lebron James posed with superlativemodel Gisele Bundchen, and though I'd seen the cover a number of times it didn't really strike any chord within me other than "Huh---a brotha's on the cover of Vogue---dig that isht...."

BUT: I mean, damn. When you place the Vogue cover side by side with the King Kong joint... What's that line Arsenio Hill used to pop back in the day: Things that make you go "Hmmmm...."

When you realize how much more dignified and, frankly, 'civilized' the alternative photo looks, that really gets the wheels spinning.

I dunno - is it just me----or is there truly a kinda King Kong-esque janky - and painfully obvious - subtext going on with that Vogue cover...?

    50 Cent looks more like King Kong than Lebron does. I mean really. Un-believable.
