  • It should be noted that the show is now on later at night, rather than in the afternoon. I'm not sure, but The Simpsons is not on during the day in America either, right?

I, personally, love The Simpsons and think that most of it is ok for children (and the rest children probably won't get anyway), but it's frustrating to see how the US media is portraying this as an act of outstanding censorship when the same thing goes on in this country.

Although, replacing it with Baywatch maybe wasn't the best move....

  • I don't get what's wrong with it either. I'm in the UK, so it get's shown over 5pm instead. I grewup watching it, and I was just fine, did'nt think anything of it, just seemed to really enjoywatching it anyway. Evenin season 2 where there's that episode where Homer's manageing a waitress called Berlyne who becomes a country star and he get's in bedwith Marge, never got it until I was much older, no harmdone.

I mean, it's hardly like pure dirty jokething like Family Guy or South Park. Nothing wrong with kids seeing it, even if it was originallyintendedfor adults.

(Well, the old ones anyway, then the rest of the newsest seosons are getting more and more like Family Guy, but normal TV onlyshows the older ones anyway)
